With the strong encouragement and support from Hon. Ambassador Randhir Jaiswal ji, over the past four years, IHCA-NJ has proudly expanded the legacy of Natya Darpan to Washington DC. Since 2021, this one-of-a-kind multilingual short play festival has brought together some of the most acclaimed and award-winning theater groups from across the U.S., presenting high-quality performances in Hindi, Marathi, and English. In collaboration with various local nonprofit organizations, Natya Darpan DC continues to thrive as a vibrant platform for artistic expression, fostering cultural dialogue and strengthening the South Asian theater community in the nation’s capital.
